Building your future successful career

Just to update you that in no small part due to your invaluable assistance I today received an offer of employment from the firm I applied to, having only had my interview two days earlier! Goes to show that if you want to impress then there is good argument for spending the necessary time (and money) presenting yourself in the best possible light. Needless to say, if only on a results basis I would definitely recommend your services although it was also an enjoyable and beneficial exercise going through your process and talking with you in our phone interview.

I really appreciate what you have done for me last year. You helped me a lot including improving my CV and taught me how to pass the interview. I have learnt lots of skills from your training. They are really useful for me to get the right job offer. I was successful in getting science technician position about 9 months ago. Wow, the CV is a magical thing - I applied to a couple of jobs through the NSW Health website you sent through with my new and improved CV and I’ve got my first interview next week! Three weeks later….. Just wanted to send you a wee email to share some exciting news: I got a job! In just over a week I’m flying to Sydney to be a Clinical Research Associate at Sydney Children’s Hospital! Thank you so much for your guidance, I am so grateful to be embarking on this role and am looking forward to making the most of this opportunity.

I went to the Waikato open day and really enjoyed the campus and the culture around the university. I applied for a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and got an offer from Waikato which I have accepted. I am also looking into the scholarships that I can apply for. I also just got offered a permanent part-time position at the Warehouse. I am also happy with the offer of accommodation at the university hall I wanted to get into as well. Well, I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful service. Things have happened very quickly since submitting my CV and letter to Air New Zealand a little over a week ago. I attended an interview in Auckland on Wednesday and received news yesterday that I have a position!!! So thank you once again for your expertise, I could not have put this CV together myself and the job interview preparation and all of your advice was really helpful too.

Hi Miriam, thank you so much for all the great information and advice you provided, it really does help me in deciding what paths I might take. Checking out the University of Canterbury was great, getting to see the halls and all the facilities was informative. I talked to a course advisor there about different courses and how to work minors into a degree and everything which was really informative. I also got onto a tour business faculty and talked to some of the people there as well. I asked questions about international business courses and a bunch of things all to with the Uni courses. I'm going to check out all of the links you recommended and honestly our sessions really gave me a launch into thinking about what I could do at university, and helped me to have some clarity about it all. Once again thank you for your help, I now feel more confident about what I can do in the future.

Just letting you know I was successful in being offered the position at Toi Te Ora/Public Health. I’m so excited and can’t wait to start my new role.
